Description

Here are my 2 scopes in action at a star party in March. I am a member of 3RF Australia and we organise the OZSKY Star Party every year. A week under the dark skies in Coonabarrabran. It's for observational astronomy with instruments available for people to use ranging from 12" up to 25". This year a took the EQ6 mounts and a variety of telescopes to use with them. Several of the shots in my profile include images from this weekend. Shot with my Nikon Z9 and the 20mm f1.8 lens. It shows the Magellanic clouds with my telescopes. Directly after this image, I took a short timelapse to show the Meridian flip. The Z9 ISO is amazing so I was able to shoot at 25k and 2 second exposures to show the flip of both telescopes.
